Emerging research hints that extreme temperatures (saunas or ice baths), cleaner diets, exercise, and calorie restriction might help give NAD levels a bump. But these aren’t silver bullets—and they won’t work miracles for everyone. That’s why many still opt for boosters, according to aol.com. 

Picking the Right NAD Supplement: Be Sharp 

Start with a conversation with your physician. “Options include capsules, IV drips, and injections,” Amidor noted. “But IV NAD is inefficient and can unleash side effects—headaches, nausea, even diarrhea. It’s more of a Hollywood fad than a universal fix.”

– Choose proven forms: “Stick to NR and NMN—they’re bioavailable and backed by studies,” advised Poon.   

– Prioritize transparency: Amidor recommends hunting for third-party testing labels like USP or NSF International. Ask for a Certificate of Analysis for peace of mind.   

– Skip the mystery blends: Sinclair cautions against “proprietary formulas” with hidden ingredients. Know what you’re ingesting—period.
